Mission Statement.

OUR VISION

Jesus

OUR MISSION

To Follow Jesus, In Our Community, For His Glory

Key Focus Areas.

BIBLE TEACHING & TRAINING

We highly value the Word of God and seek to preach it faithfully in order to honour God and encourage His people to action.

DISCIPLESHIP & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

We seek to follow Jesus more closely and in an increasing measure. We want to know Him and be His representatives in our local community and beyond.
To do this effectively we need leadership. It is our aim to multiply God-honouring, Gospel-centered leaders.

FELLOWSHIP

God’s Church consists of people who have been redeemed and united through the cross. This unity should be expressed in fellowship that is deep, genuine and growing. We want to be a Church that deeply loves one another as an expression of the unconditional love Christ has shown to us. We believe that genuine life change happens most powerfully when in community.

MISSION

As Christians we have a commission to “Go”. Jesus said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men”. (Matthew 4:19).

We desire to live with a mission mindset in and through our Church. We want to be characterized by our love for and service of people in our local community and beyond, as modeled by Christ.
We want to think deeply about our mission field and be led by the Holy Spirit as we seek to engage with people and see them come to a saving faith in Christ.

GENEROSITY

We want to be a Church known for its generosity. We serve an abundantly generous God who has given us all we have. In response to this truth, we want to be open handed rather than tight-fisted with our time, passion, finance, resources and love.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6: 19-21
